Thymalin
Also known as: Thymus extract peptides
A complex of polypeptides extracted from calf thymus glands. Used in Russia for immune restoration, particularly in immunodeficient states and cancer adjuvant therapy.
Mechanism of Action
Restores thymic function, promotes T-cell maturation and differentiation, normalizes CD4/CD8 ratios, and enhances natural killer cell activity.
Dosing Protocol
5-10 mg intramuscular daily for 3-10 days. Repeat courses every 3-6 months.
